Young Adventures is dedicated to supporting young people ages 11-25 and their families across Leicster by providing inclusive youth services, recreational oppertunities, wellbeing support, and pathways into edication and employment. We are commited to creating safe spaces, promoting personal developement, and empowering vulnerabl individuals - ensuring no one is left behind.

🌟 Volunteer Treasurer Wanted – Young Adventures CIC
Young Adventures CIC is looking for a dedicated and reliable Treasurer to join our Management Committee. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference for children, young people, and communities across Leicester.
As Treasurer, you’ll help oversee our finances, ensuring that we remain financially secure and able to continue our vital work. Key tasks include:

Overseeing budgets, accounts and financial reporting

Supporting fundraising and funding applications

Advising on financial planning and sustainability

Presenting accounts at committee meetings and the AGM
💡 We’re looking for someone with good organisational skills and a head for numbers. Financial or book-keeping experience is helpful but not essential – training and support will be provided.
📅 Commitment: Approx. 6–8 committee meetings per year, plus some time for reports and accounts.
This is a voluntary role but offers a rewarding chance to contribute to your community, build skills, and support a growing organisation.
